Eyebrow plucking is an effective method to correct eyebrow problems. How to pluck the eyebrowsYou can start by drawing a thin "test-line" with your eyebrow pencil to define the shape before you start. The eyebrow should start above the inner corner of the eye (most eyebrows do already). Try to find a peak in your natural eyebrow and accentuate it by "plucking it forward". If you can't find a peak, try to make one above the outer area of the iris. The eyebrow should typically end outside the outer corner of the eye. If it does not already, grab the pencil and start drawing. You should be careful when you choose tweezers for eyebrow plucking. You should use a special make-up tweezers and not the same kinds that you use for splinters. If you do not want to pluck your eyebrows for some reason, there are tools for eyebrow shaving. Electric shavers, which are especially made for women, are the best. Do not pluck the upside of the eyebrow unless you have to remove some hairs that do not go with the shape, but are living a life of their own. Pluck from below to open up the eye. Pluck it in a fashion so that it tapers the farther from your nose it gets. ColorChoose a color, which is similar to the darkest color of your hair. If you are blonde, it might look unnatural with black eyebrows therefore your eyebrows should be darker than the general color of your hair. Eyebrows are a natural frame for the eyes and should be in proper proportion to the face. Perfectly shaped eyebrows will greatly enhance the look of your eyes, your face and will accentuate your makeup, whereas ill kept and unruly eyebrows will hide the beauty of your eyes. Precautions to follow during eyebrow pluckingPluck only from the underside of the brow in the direction, which the hair grows. Do not pluck from the top of the brow and chance plucking too much and losing the shape of the brow. You may also want to pluck any stray hairs in-between the brows. If you find it is painful apply a lubricant before you pluck, preferably one that had a dulling effect like oral gel. Your brow should earnestly start right above the inner corner of your eye. To determine where the eyebrow should start, place a pencil against the nostril and align it up with the inner corner of your eye. Your eyebrow should end in a diagonal with the outer corner of your eye. To determine this, place the pencil at the side of your nose ending at the outer corner of your eye. The eyebrow should arch preferably above the outer rim of the iris. One should be very careful when you pluck your eyebrows, if you are unsure go to a professional. Incorrect eyebrow plucking can ruin the look of your eyebrows and after a certain time the eyebrow will not grow back. If you do use a professional, do keep regular appointments and do not let your eyebrows get too unruly between appointments.
