Shaved Eyebrow

Eyebrow shaving is a great way to remove unwanted hair quickly. Eyebrow Shaving is performed when the hair has been thoroughly hydrated, namely after a bath or shower. Although liquid or bar soap may be used, shaving creams are most popular because they do not run down the neck or face in the process of actual shaving.

As time moves, many women begin to lose their eyebrows. Or, if they tweezed or shaved them in the '80's oftentimes they did not grow back. With permanent makeup, beautiful eyebrows can be yours without the fuss of pencils that wear off or smear. The fact to be concerned about is that the makeup is permanent. While the true fact remains hidden it is always noted that permanent makeup needs to be applied 2 or 3 times to be truly permanent. For the first time you have applied permanent makeup, it will be a little darker than you imagined, but much of it will flake off by the time it has healed. This means that you need to come back to apply additional color.

Think of it as painting a car or horse. They require several coats of paint, no? Permanent makeup acts in the same way. Normally, it needs to be layered on to achieve the desired results. Upon completion of a procedure, the color will be brighter and darker than the final result. During the 7-14 days of healing, small amounts of pigment will flake off during healing - think of it as the body doing its job by expelling the pigment during the therapeutic period. This means if the color is not right, the technician can alter it on the touchup visits. If the technician places pigment in a place it should not be, it probably will flake off during the healing period or can be tuned or removed at the next appt.

What if you they are not liked by? Only a very small percentage of people end up not liking it because they had unrealistic expectations of the procedure to begin with. They likely did not do their research to know what to expect from.

Things to consider before shaving your eyebrows:

Having razor that is close to your eyes is not safe.

Often razors may cause skin rashes - not something you may want around your eyes.

Eyebrows are odd things in that they can make a very significant difference to our appearance and yet no one really does notice them. Once you start staring at your own eyebrow you see it very clearly, but when others look at you they would not take it in. The problem with shaving eyebrows is that the hair does indeed look really messy as it grows back in. It is usually recommended to follow some other method unless it cannot be avoided.
