Put lime flowers in the boiling water for 60 minutes. Strain and let the mixture cool. Now add sodium benzoate to it. The complexion lotion is now ready. Add equal part of rose water to it for better results. Keep it in a refrigerator and use with the help of cotton buds.

Lavender complexion lotion

Ingredients:

Borax powder - 1 teaspoon
Rose water - 1 cup
Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
Lavender extract - ½ cup

Mix borax powder in rose water and add boiling oil to the mixture. Keep stirring, and add lavender extract when it becomes cool. It can be stored under refrigeration for more than 2 months.

Almond complexion lotion

Ingredients:

Almond oil - 1 tablespoon
Cucumber/carrot juice - 1 teaspoon
Glycerine - 2 teaspoons
Liquid paraffin - 1 teaspoon
Extract of cornflower - 1 teaspoon

Heat the almond oil and paraffin together and add all the other ingredients to it. Shake it well, apply it and let it remain till it dries. Wash with lukewarm water and then rinse off with cold water. It keeps the skin fairer and smoother.

Sesame complexion lotion

Ingredients:

Sesame oil - 40 ml
Olive oil - 10 ml
Almond oil - 10 ml

Mix all the oils together and apply on face and neck. This protects the skin from heat of sun and is effective measure to get rid of sun tanning.

Witch hazel complexion lotion

Ingredients:

Borax powder - 15 gm
Distilled water - 500 ml
Alcohol - 1 cup
Witch hazel extract - ½ cup

Dissolve the borax powder in water over a low flame. Let it cool, and then stir with rest of the ingredients. Pour the mixture into an airtight bottle and refrigerate it.
